Now, I know some titles are going to have this option and the PS3 even allowed for a keyboard and mouse to be plugged into it, but it would be nice to have this option for gaming as well. Plenty of game-types could certainly benefit from this option, especially first person games. This is probably a pipe dream, but racing games have a steering wheel and pedals, so why not a keyboard and mouse option for the PC fans in all the games?
Sure, there will be a PlayStation App allowing us to use our smartphones and tablets as a second screen — akin to SmartGlass for the Xbox — but it would be great to have some kind of integration for upcoming PS4 and Vita games and PlayStation Mobile. Considering the power of devices currently — especially the recent Sony Xperia Z tablet — it would be great if we could have a Remote Play feature for mobile devices. However, what about those of us who already own PS3 games? Look at Valve. With the inclusion of workshop, the community has developed thousands of mods for various games on Steam. Since the PS4 follows a PC like architecture, this should be pretty doable.
Imagine the possibilities if modders are able to enhance an already awesome experience on the PS4. While Sony is supporting 4K resolution; the next big thing in Televisions and displays, it is only for select media. Games and movies will have to be made to use this feature rather than simply being enabled with the console detects a 4K compatible display.
If Sony really wants to get the most out of their graphics, pushing this option out to all the developers would certainly be a good way to do it. Sony might as well get in on the bottom floor with this one. View More. Playground Games have delivered the goods yet again with Forza Horizon 5.
