They get all giddy about how beautiful the water is and just jump right in, without realizing how dangerous it can be. I'm actually a poor swimmer myself. I like Kauai and find the ocean to be inspirational and spiritual — cleansing — but I rarely go in it.

My wife and her partner edited a book that Todd's wife wanted to produce the stage version of, so we all flew out to Kauai and stayed at Todd's "old" place a garden apt.
But we visited the new one--that house, where the Daryl Hall show is shot. It's as amazing as it looks. Todd was on tour so we didn't get to meet him, but his wife Michelle was a doll. That open space is, in fact, the house's kitchen, dining room, and living room. That space on the left, as you look in from the outside, is where the sofa and tv are. The stage lighting is part of the normal setup. Very witty of TR.
