Students perform specific jobs within 18 different shops, each of which offers a consumer product or service. Paul, which has been redesigned and refurbished to meet its specific needs with the help of RSP Architects and Mortenson Construction.
The new building enables JAUM to double the number of students served each year by its on-site experiential programs from 17, to 34, Fuller Innovation Center, each of which offers a consumer product or service. In addition to H. Fuller's support, many of the other JA BizTown shops are sponsored by Minnesota's leading companies representing their industry or profession.

This popular program allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. The program helps students connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.
Following participation in the program, students will be able to: -- Discuss the roles they play as citizens, workers, and consumers in their community and relate those roles to the free enterprise system. JA BizTown is recommended for grades 4—6. The program is a JA Capstone program and is available for classroom-based, self- guided, or remote classroom implementation. It includes 12 teacher-led sessions prior to the simulation and 1 session following the simulation, with a culminating 4—5 hour visit to a hands-on simulated community or a virtual simulation.

Virtual Implementation Remote live, virtual simulation, and self guided implementation options are available for JA BizTown. National Standards While educational standards are determined primarily at the state level, many national standards serve as guidelines for the development of these state standards. State Standards Junior Achievement curricula are created to align with state standards. Scope and Sequence Junior Achievement learning experiences cover financial literacy, career and work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
